LD150

I just ordered this 12" combo. I have been using an envelope filter for my "synth" sound. I notice this amp includes a Synth channel and an envelope filter. How would you describe the difference of sound? Is there somewhere I can "hear" samples? Looking forward to playing with my new toy. I hate waiting.

I don't have any sound samples for you, but I'd just like to recommend a FBV shortboard for the LD150. Lets you save a lot of synthy sounds and recall them easily. Not a must have, but it's definitely a nice to have.

Cool. I probably will need that since I will be gigging with it. I'm excited to be able to use a synth model and octave at the same time. My other two modelers can only use "one" modulation effect at a time. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a multi fx pedal to me if you can't use more than one effect. That's why I went with this one. I want to carry less.

My current rig is a Peavey BAM 210. It is going into the shop and the LD150 will be doing duties as a fill in. If the Line 6 can do the same job as the Peavey then I'll start using it.

Here's the Shortboard FBV mkII:

I have the original version, not the mkII. No idea if the mkII is compatible with the LD150 thought.

The FBV Shortboard MkII is compatible with the LD150 (and all other products that previously were compatible with the FBV Shortboard).

Enjoy!
Aaron
