LD300 Pro to LD400?

I've had my LD300 Pro for 3+ years and love the tone I can get from it. But, for the last year or so it has become more and more unstable.

Usually when I power up the tone is different from one time to the next. I can always get my tone back by switching to another preset and back to my most used. Also, there are some gigs where it just sounds "off". Lastly, it always flashes like it's waiting for me to store changes, even if I haven't made any.

BUT, even with all that, when it's working, it sounds amazing.

I'm thinking about replacing her with the LD400. So, how do the two compare (other than wattage and drivers)? Are there more features?

Has anyone here used the 400 for a regular gig set up?

Are there any new Line6 combos coming in the near future?

Thanks in advance!

Might just be a minor glitch...You might be able to alleviate the issue by doing a factory reset, which would restore all the factory presets on it, Zeroing it out, basically. Switch it off and hold the A button down while switching it on. hope it works!

Sounds like pot jitter. Happens when the pots get dirty. On an analog amp you lose signal or have scratchiness. But with digital gear the pots jitter and it can "dirty" the patch or even change it. You can take it to a service center and have it repaired.
