Line 6 Lowdown 15w. Why is this amp terrible?

I bought one of these last Christmas and it sounded great, until this strange noise started coming out of the amp. I returned the amp to Guitar Center, and got a new one.
Fast forward about....a year. The amp lost alot of its volume and it sounded distorted on each channel. I can't make the distorted noise to go away.

Should I return the amp or is there soemthing I can do????

Did you blow the speaker cone? Do you play it really loud?

You might just need one that is bigger than 15W if you are.

Get a new speaker for it, or ditch it and get a new amp. I'd suggest going with the first option.

I would do what he suggested as well. Get a new speaker. There are many good aftermarket ones available.
