Line 6 NEEDS to make a bass synth pedal!

Let me say this first. I was not a fan of Line 6s bass offerings before today. I didn't want to have anything to do with their stuff besides their pedals until today.

I was in a new Best Buy that opened up near my house and it had a music section (it was awesome despite the slim bass selection). I grabbed a bass to jam on and just for the hell of it decided to try out the HD400/410 rig they had. I'm not gonna lie, I liked it. I really wanted not to, but I did, lol. What surprised me even more was that I liked the play-style presets they had (particularly the R&B, Brit, and Synth presets with a bit of tweaking). So Lien 6 has gained my seal of approval, congratulations .

Now to the main point, the synth preset combined with the on-board effects of the HD400 was AWESOME! I mean I really liked it! I had to have messed with it for nearly an hour. The tracking was great, the sound was great, everything about it was great. It'd be awesome if that could be expanded upon and released in a pedal format; one that isn't huge, doesn't require a computer to operate, could take a standard 9VDC power adapter, and doesn't have the power draw of the LHC. I'd buy it

The LowDown modeling, including the synth, is in the Bass Floor POD.

the lack of a bass synth in the M9 is what keeps me away from Line 6.. if Line 6 could introduce a "B9" or similar.. for "just bass.." _+ synth sounds, I'd buy it.. until then, not..
