Line 6 Pod Studio UX2 Interface question.

I am looking to invest in one of these interfaces but learnt that the amp and cabs included with the Pod Farm software for the Bass numbers a measly 5 amps and 5 cabs.......
I also noticed on their website that there is an option to purchase a Bass expansion pack which consists of 28 amp models and 22 cabinet models which can be used with the Pod Farm plug in.
Now if I purchased the expansion pack for my UX2 would it work the same way as the original 5 amp and cabs that came with the UX2 on purchase?
I mean would I be able to view all amps and cabs from my expansion pack and rotate and swap and change them in the Pod Farm window?
I also noticed that the five original amp and cab models you get with the UX2 are also included in the add on expansion pack therefore giving you two of the same of 5 amp and cab models,so are you able to delete the models that you already have?

Thanks peeps........

I had POD Farm Platinum for a while when I had a POD X3 live... this includes all the bass amps and cabs, and they all worked the same as what comes with the UX2 (which I also have). There were no duplicates, and therefore no need to delete anything. I'll say this, there's only 5 bass-specific models, but you can use anything for bass- guitar amps, preamps, etc, and it all sounds good. Try messing around with what comes with the UX2, and if you can't find a sound you're looking for, THEN look into the expansion pack.

Personally, I use the SVT model almost exclusively.

Thanks for the reply my friend but the 5 amp and 5 cabs that come with Pod Farm are also included with the add on Bass expansion pack which I will be looking to purchase.
Maybe these do not transfer over to Pod Farm as they are already there?

Correct. They're there to begin with, but do not duplicate when an expansion pack is added. I downloaded an effects expansion pack, which includes all the effects that come with the POD Farm CD, and none of them duplicated, it simply added the new effects that weren't there previously.
