M13...new to this and need help downloading new version of firmware

Ok...so how do I download the new 2.01 version of firmware to my M13? I bought it used and it came with version 1.02. I know that I need a MIDI Interface (need to buy one) and MIDI cable...but how exactly do I do the firmware update.

***I've never used MIDI before, never had a MIDI Interface, and have owned only 1 Line 6 product in the past, that being a Line 6 Bass Pod XT Live.***

Help...I really want the new Bass Octaver!

The M13 doesn't use Monkey, or at least didn't when I upgraded to version 2. I downloaded MidiOx, followed the directions, and was upgraded in about 20 minutes.

Should have done this first.....you're right!

Here are the instructions from the Line6 site:

Ok, I must be dim! I have Midi-Ox and the M Audio Uno to update my M13. When I get to this step.

3. Go to Option, then MIDI Devices; select USB Audio Device for both MIDI Inputs and MIDI Outputs; uncheck Automatically Attach Inputs To Outputs During Selection; click OK to accept it.

There is no "USB Audio Device" that shows up in the MIDI Inputs or Outputs.

What am I doing wrong??

Try switching the in and out cable at the M13.
