Last weekend I set up my gear and plug in my Pod. I flick the power and the screen glows orange and stays like that for about 30 seconds, and then flickers. That's it. I've never dropped it or spilled anything on it at all.
I took it into my local service tech (an authorized repair centre) and he tells me that the circuit board is dead. So now I'm waiting to find out how much the "guts" are going to cost me. /sigh

Mine has been drowned once(water dripped in it during an outdoor show through a tent leak)...dried it out and it worked fine since.
Good luck and subscribed.

And to top it all off, my Blackberry Curve just suffered the Blackberry version of the "blue screen of death." Bye bye blackberry, hello new LG Optimus. sigh...
How does the song go, "If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all."

It might be cheaper for you to take the hit and invest the money spent on repair into some other similar gear, used... Or maybe someone sells a used Line 6 Bass Pod XT... |

I'll probably end up putting it up on the Bay or my local classifieds for parts....
