Digitech Bass Synth Wah. Nice octave for a cheap price, especially used. Plus it has a ton of other sounds.

I use the MXR 288 because it's very "natural" sounding vs the Micro POG I had (kinda synthy sounding), and also the mid boost button allows you to slice through a live mix like a hot knife. That mid boost is crucial for me, as I had problems with the Micro POG being heard live. The tracking on the POG was hands down a ton better. Sloppy playing sounds like absolute junk through the MXR so it will certainly make you a better player!
