I used the footswitch from my GK MB2-500 (which wasn't any use with the amp). A little modding, and now I have a blendless expression pedal. I can open it up and put up a wiring diagram if anyone's interested. |

Prompted by another thread I've started - what would be REALLY great is to have the ability to mix in to the signal a dry bass tone at the output - with the additional ability to 'low pass' it, like a crossover. Nice bottom extention, but roll off the highs if necessary so that the effects can take over the top end.
How's about that?
I got more where that came from! | http://line6.com/company/contact/productFeedback
Post that here and we can think about it. I of course know exactly what you are asking for.

A clean blend for the various overdrive and distortions would be very welcome for most bassists, as well. | See post above.

Hopefully in a few weeks someone will bring me an M13 from USA (i´m in Argentina) and we´ve got 220v over here...
Does lthe original power supply work either with 110v and 220v or i´ll have to get the 220v version over here ?

Alex | No, you will have to get the proper power supply. Most Line 6 dealers should have them to sell you.

I bought the M9 and it seems to be great unit. I wanted to buy the USB-Midi cable (this is very poor solution for such modern unit) but it got lost somewhere on the way to me, so I still dont have all of the possibilities and sounds that new firmware provides.
I am a bit curious about your synth and autowah settings or effects that you use for those disco synth sounds and autowah - if you think that your synth and wah sounds killer, post please your settings. thank you

Upgrading is easy, and you definitely want to go 2.0. Get yourself a "M-Audio Midisport USB Uno" easy hookup for the computer - I upgraded in less than 10 minutes.
I haven't had five minutes to plug in for the past week, but this weekend, I intend on tackling wah settings and checking out the synths - I will post if I come up with anything worthwhile. So far, I've been having great success with the Chorus, Phaser and Tremolo patches, as well as the Bass Octaver.

I took it yesterday (with old firmware) to practice with my band and the chain was:
MIJ jazz bass - M9 - sonic stomp - SVT VR - SVT 8x10.
it seems that i am going to be very satisfied. chorus - no probs. phaser - no probs. boost comp - no probs. i have to work a bit on auto wahs and synths. but overall - great

EDIT: I've just measured this to be sure, and when you include the jack socket plugged into the ex-1, the end of the ex-1 overhangs the pt mini base by around 2''

Can you hit me up with a link for the DOD TBH?
Thanks. Gus
