using a Line 6 POD X3 Live

Guys,

I need some suggestions on gear to play my Bass using my Line 6 POD X3 Live.

I'm just to getting started again.

Here's what I have:

Guitars
Ibanez Bass SRA300
Epiphone SG G400

Gear
Line 6 Spider III 75 watts
Line 6 POD X3 Live

I'm not in a band, I don't need something loud, I'm just playing around the apartment and might start writing songs again with my friends.

I haven't played Bass in a very long time. I bought the Ibanez Bass and X3 at Guitar Center yesterday. I wanted the Line 6 Bass POD Live and was told they don't make them anymore.

I bought the SG & Spider III in 2008

you definitely want to use software (Line6 Edit or Gearbox) to tweak your settings on your computer, if you're not already doing it that way. Makes the whole process much easier!
Just USB from the Pod to your computer

My X3 came POD farm and not with Gearbox, Gearbox had already been phased out apparently when this one made

I searched the Line 6 site and found Gearbox when I was updating the software and downloaded it.

Gearbox is the best way to use the X3. Much easier to figure out and change things.

Thanks for the info
Joe
