Using M9 with a mixer?

Hi!

I was playing around with my new M9 (great unit!) and I had the idea off hooking it up to the AUX-SEND/RETURN of my little home-studio mixer (Mackie).

I can imagine lots of cool things that can be done that way, ie using all the cool effects on vocals or synths.

Now my question: Is that a good idea or am I asking for trouble? I mean, can I actually damage the M9 by overloading the input or anything like that? I assume that it will work fine but I just want to be sure...

Thanks for your help!

Isn't the M9 for guitar?? am I wrong? well, I guess as long as it doesn't cut any low end it's a go right?

I'm sorry, I know this isn't the response you were seeking, but I'm in the market for a multi-efx so I had to ask. Thx

You cannot damage the M9. If you overload the input you will just get bad digital distortion. You will know it if you hear it. As far as using it that way, you totally can.
