Question why is there no ToneCore "fuzz" pedal and "octave" pedal? Or bass specific?

I was wondering why there is no ToneCore fuzz pedal.

From my experience with the Bass PODs (original, XT and X3) I find the model of the Big Muff, Large Pie or Fuzz Pie as Line 6 calls it, excellent.
I find it even better than a real Big Muff.
I might be the only one with that opinion though.

I don't know how it comes that I like it so much... maybe this is a case where digital can be better than analog (for some people).

I have not tried the Uber Metal and Dr. Distorto ToneCore pedal. But I assume those are not like the fuzz models on the PODs.

Is there a chance that in the future new ToneCore pedals will be coming out?
It would be nice if there was one dedicated to different fuzz models. For example models of: Big Muff, Fuzzface, Octavia Fuzz, Brassmaster,...

I know the DM-4 has these models, I haven't tested one out, but downside is the large footprint.

A bass specific overdrive/distortion/fuzz pedal would also be nice. Something with a blend function.

Also, why is there no octave pedal, or pitchshifting pedal for that matter?
There is none in the ToneCore series and none in the 4x4 series as far as I know.
This is a popular effect among guitarists and bassists, so I find it strange that Line 6 has nothing of this type of effect in pedal form.

And again, for bass specific purposes it would be nice if a model of the Akai Unibass was possible.
Maybe not ideal for a Tonecore pedal, but as a model in the M13 or POD... the units that are crammed with all kinds of effects anyway.

Hang in there, I think the future is looking bright for you.

I agree,no clean octaver for bass player is not looking out for bass players, as a bass player I agree. As a Line 6 employee, I am fighting for it. Win some loose some, I go after it as much as possible.

Also, check out the Boost Comp from DM4 that is in the M13, kicks butt on bass.
