I Googled Relay 30 and got a link to Sam Ash that had them for sale at $299.99. I checked again today and they were off their site. I called and talked to a rep and he told me that they were out of stock but he could order one for me. Delivery in 2-3 weeks from Line 6. I asked what deal that they had and he said 10% off for in and out of stock items. I also checked the Line 6 forum and one of the guys from Line 6 said that they were "approved" for everywhere but no indication as to when they would be available. It sounds like they are quietly trying to move out the XDS lines over the holidays to make room for the G30's. I am temped to order one to see if I actually receive it. Anyone going to beat me to it?
I called SA today to check on the status of my order. It has been 19 days since the order was placed and I thought that they should be getting close to shipping based on their quote of 2-3 weeks. The story that I got today was totally different. Line 6 is saying the G30 will not be shipping until January! Looks like the speculation of them trying to clear out the XDS line of wireless is true. They will probably be available everywhere before I get mine. Oh well at $270 I can afford to wait.
