I'm very happy with my X2 wirelesses (have both an XDR and an XDS) other than battery life, and UNHAPPY with my current IEM Wireless unit (Sennheiser G1). It seems to me you could beat a serious niche into the market with a dramatically lower price point that even sounded better. And even if it ate batteries, I'd buy it |

Where's my combination in-ear / instrument wireless unit?
Of course you'll have to send me a unit to test... (make that 2 units, gtr player will want one also)

But a in ear wireless system by Line6/X2 would rock. Especially if it was pedalboard compatible like the G30/G50. |

It's been a while since I opened this thread and something finally occured to me. Maybe the reason they may have not come out with the wireless monitor system is most likely because they haven't been able to make a DIGITAL receiver small enough to be carried like a body pack. It could be possible that a digital transmitter is less complicated that the actual decoding involved, plus having to cram a headphone amp/ mixer in a unit. I'm not very tech-savy, but maybe they can incorporate some hifi blue tooth technology. I'd like to get some thoughts from the previous posters... since nobody from Line 6 has made any comment What do you guys think? |
