Thanks for any insight... my system is working GREAT and I'd hate to see it's availability just go away.
If a new version is in the works... just about the only minor issues I can offer with the current system is that 1) the battery cover on the transmitter is not very easy to get open and closed - I always feel like I'm going to break it, and 2) if I switch off the transmitter to effect a remote mute, the receiver will 'pop'... like a static crackle... every few minutes until the transmitter is turned back on.

So, he ordered me an XDS-Plus for $279.99, as it sounds like the newer models are gonna be a bit more pricey. |

- Kevin | The link here is of the coming product for Europe, it runs at a frequency that allows it to work all over the world.
If you love the X2, and I do, then I would grab some accessories and extra parts, it is the wireless for the states.

I was going to get an XDS - Plus but these look like they fix a couple things - not the least of which is the mini plug - 1/4" special cable. What a pain in the A**! I want to be able to take any 1/4" cable I have and use it. |

I cannot talk about when or if they will be available in the US. Sorry, dig my job.

I'm amazed that the US supply channel is getting cleared without a rack mount replacement apparently on deck. Is there some risk in terms of frequency band utilization going forward? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
