I got this crazy idea and I hope it takes off. I made a donation to UNICEF last nite, but I can't help but think I can do more. Unfortunately I can't really afford to at this point, but it dawned on me that I have another resource here.... YOU!
I'm listing my Barber Dirty Bomb (includes original box & manual.)
$75 (shipping included, paypal prefered)
Here's the catch... 100% of your $75 will go to UNICEF's Hatian relief fund, so you can even write it off on your tax return if you so choose.
If you ever wanted to try one of these, grab this one and do these kids some good.
Thanks. |

Didn't really do it to be noble, just pains me to see what's happening w/these orphaned children on TV having grown up in Miami and having many Hatian friends. I figured they could use the food, antibiotics, etc. more than I could use another dirt pedal collecting dust here. |

I know I can't save them all, but hopefully I can do my part to at least save one of 'em. Here's a link to grygrx's demo vid.
Thx for checking this one out. |

I had the opportunity to try this pedal and must say it is killer indeed. Very versatile, has internal trims which make it even more tweakable!
I a/b'd this with a EHX BBM and ODB-3 and personally thought it blew them out of the water.
Most importantly, it cuts through in a band mix very, very well! Just my 2 cents.

UNICEF has already sent 2 planes filled w/water purification supplies, 1st aid supplies, and other necessities we take for granted down there to Hati. They're working as fast as they can and your donations are utilized within hours of sending, and hit the ground over there within 24 hours.
If anyone wants more pics just PM me and I'll post 'em up. I can't do sound clips, but if ya wanna PM me, I'll give ya my # so you can call and hear it over the phone (sorry, best I can do).
If you ever wanted to try one of these, I sincerely hope you consider this one.
Thanks. |

| | | What is a Barber Dirty Bomb? I am a beginner bass player. Knda deaf too with small hands but I don't let that sdtop me. I would only send a Postal US Money Order for the item. I am in Alaska and get mail service ever' day. I would only want US Mail Priorty sent with insurance. So do I need that item>? Later, Jay jayl@mtaonline.net |

Basically it's alot like a Tube Screamer pedal, but deeper and bassier. Alot of distortion pedals kill your low end and quite frankly suck for use w/electric bass. This one doesn't.
THIS is what it sounds like on bass.
It won't make your hands any bigger.... sorry bout that, but it will give your bass tone a nice gritty distorted sound. Sounds the same on active or passive intruments as well.
I always ship USPS Priority w/tracking (check my feedback and feel free to ask about me to anyone I've sold to on here) and will insure for the $75 value.
I'd be willing to accept a postal money order, but you'll have to wait for it to arrive to me before I'll ship, so it might take a few days. I prefer Paypal tho, since this is for charity and these earthquake victims could use the help ASAP.
I'm kinda busy watching the Jets game right now (Nice kick Kaeding haha) but I'll be sure to answer any PM's after the game.
Thanks for your interest. |

| | | | What does distorted mean? It is needed for a beginner? Will it make my guitar sound good? I do not have Pay Pal, man,. Never had a Credit Card. I am interested if you think it be good. How much are they new? Later, Jay |

| | | | Would the 75 bucks include shipping to Alaska? It will probably be aabout 15 bucks to ship here with insurance. Later, Jay |
