Aguilar Agro pedal

Sign in to disble this ad
Just recently picked this up from another TB'er. The pedal has barely been used and is in perfect working order. Very cool Distortion pedal! I just ended up acquiring a Tone Hammer 500 which has the agro overdrive built in and don't need the pedal now. Here are the specs from the aguilar site: Aguilar Amplification: Bass Pedals, Bass Pickups, Bass Preamps, Bass Amplifiers, and Bass Speaker Cabinets

- comes with original box, manual.

$130 shipped .. would consider trading for an EBS Valve Drive.(i've wanted to try out that tube pedal for a while)

This is a false statement, FYI. Dave B. can explain better than I but the AGS circuit on the Tone Hammer is different than the Agro's saturation circuit. The Agro is geared more for mild overdrive to all-out distortion and the AGS is geared more for a light boost to a thick overdrive. There is some overlapping area though and both sound absolutely phenomenal!

Thanks!! I remember reading somewhere that the drive circuit is based off the agro... so i loosely interpreted that as "agro technology/sound built in" to the TH500. They sound pretty similar to me so I never questioned it. Although with the multiple controls on the agro pedal you can get a much wider variety of overdrive sounds.. Thanks for the correction.
