And in return I have a question! How did you go about velcro'ing the bottom of your TLC with it being constructed like it is with the lips hanging over the side and everything?

Those Aguilar pedals should have a pair of foam risers for affixing the Velcro to. I had an agro pedal and it came with them.

if you don't have the foam Aguilar will probably send you some. I bought a used one missing it and they mailed them to me for free. Awesome company and pedals.

I PM'd you on the TLC, I'll take it. I may be interested in the Tone Hammer as well, I'm just not sure if I need it. The long story short; will the TH pedal and an Agro get me close to the new TH 500 head, tone wise?

Here's the deal (and hopefully others will chime in)...

One of my rigs is an Acoustic Image Clarus 2R Series iii with a pair of Schroeder 1210L 4 ohm cabs (the AI goes down to 2 ohms). I love the AI because of the transparency, high wattage (900), and two channels; one for electric and one for double bass. The EQ is flexible if not extremely transparent...that is I don't think it has any color of it's own (and would guess so by design). I've been eyeing compressors for a while because the AI doesn't have anything onboard, and the one thing I haven't been super happy with is my slapping tone live. My other main rig is a Genz Benz ShuttleMAX 12.0 (that I typically pair with the same cabs), and I've been very happy with the built in limiter, so I figured I'd try a decent compressor on the AI rig. I demoed a BBE Sonic Stomp and it got me part of the way there with what I think I'm looking for, but I just wasn't a fan of what the BBE did to my overall sound. I'm hoping the TLC will be another step in the right direction for me (and from the reviews I've read it sounds like it's just the ticket).

Getting back to the Tone Hammer...I've been eyeing the TH 500 head for a while now. I just think the thing is sexy as hell and I love the way it sounds. On the flip side, I'm not really sure I need it, nor would it really match up with my existing overall needs; transparency for DB, two channels (I sometimes just play DB and use one channel for piezo and the other with a mic), and the ability to hit 2 ohms. Not to forget that I can get nearly double the wattage out of the AI too. I've also got the Agro pedal, which I love, so I'm wondering if between the Agro and a TH pedal, running through my AI, I could end up with a good mix of being able to be transparent but also have more color options (primarily for electric bass) and kind of get close to how the TH 500 head sounds.

Hopefully this isn't considered too much of a hijack, seeing as though I'm trying buy the OPs stuff

Both pedals have the foam risers so they work great on a pedal board.
