CM-2 isn't a great overdrive for the price, it's a great overdrive. Really nice with a P bass' voicing. Grab it!

Very true. I guess I was just emphasizing the low price. But this is among my favorite OD's . In fact, I took it out this past weekend and ran it into the meatsmoke pre, I got quite a few compliments. No low end loss with the CM-2, in fact, it adds low end.
