FS: BOSS ME-20B
Up for sale is my Boss ME-20B multi-effects pedal. I've had this pedal awhile and it has been a great tool for me - Iíve used it to gig and, more often, as a great practice tool with my headphones. My wife loves this pedal for that fact alone - no bass amp rumbling through the walls.
I am reluctant to let it go because of the ease of use - it is battery powered (they last a long time), but it also accepts a standard 9v adapter. The Aux in is a great feature and makes this a very powerful practice tool. The best features besides the portability are the octave, which tracks my Sadowsky, Lakland and EBMM 5ers with ease; the chorus, which is a Boss standout and really thickens or shimmers; and the volume pedal and tuner. Having a volume pedal is a great feature - i used it at church to fade in/out of slower songs. The defretter feature also came in handy on some slower songs. I don't use all the distortion effects or filters, so I can't give an honest opinion on their usefulness. But the phaser, flanger, delay are very sweet and the wah effects are quite nice as well. Oh yeah, the volume doubles as a wah pedal.
Condition - it's in very good condition and has been kept in my smoke-free studio except for the occasional gig. There are a few wear marks, but these are minor. No battery leaks, and I have the original manual and box it came in for shipping. This pedal is not "true bypass", but I don't think it has a noticeable effect on the signal chain. I've got good gear and this has been a favorite for a long time.
So why sell it you say? Because I scored a "too good to refuse" deal on a Boss ME-50B and, in this case, two is not better than one (actually, I have an ME-20 for my guitar that sounds and works equally well). I'm sacrificing some of the portability (size) with the ME-50B but retaining all the features I like in the ME-20B.
I'm looking to get $120 shipped lower 48 USA. I see these selling new for $219 online, with used prices online going for $149 to $179. I've seen them sell lower here on TB; however, included in my asking price is a Boss FS-5 in great condition that allows you to access the 10 preset banks (up only) and a patch cable. If I decide to let it go for less, then the pedal & cable stay with me. I just don't want to list it at the 'Bay and deal with the hassle of delayed payment and bidding.
I accept PayPal, package well and ship fast. Check my feedback.
Pics will be posted tonight.
Thanks for looking.
