I'm not sure about this, but here goes...
After spending ALOT of time with my guitarist playing/recording/and listening to my bass tone the last 2 weeks, I have finally convinced him that FUZZ is the tone we are after.
Obviously I am set with fuzz and after TONS of research and trial and error, I came to the conclusion the 2 best OD's for bass for the price IMHO are the EQD Monarch and Fuzzrocious Ryans' K-A-E-D-E-N Overdrive.
And personally between the 2 I like the KAEDEN the best. THE most transparent OD I have come across. But it is capable of tone stylings to your liking. No low end drop at all. This pedal is absolutely the stuff!!!
I know it's new and not really talked about yet, but it WILL!
So versatile, as it can be used in several ways...as booster, OD, transparent or EQ'd to your liking. It also gets in fuzz territory with the 1st stage cranked and sounds damn good doing it!
This particular one I had Ryan mod with a switch for tone bypass, or mid boost. On mid boost this pedal will blow your mind! Honestly the flip of that switch will give you Perma-Grin.
I hate to sell this or the Monarch, but this I may end up keeping. I am only putting this up to get a modded Dark Driving, so I would trade for one with the mods. That is the one tone styling I don't have covered.
I just got this a couple weeks ago, is #2 with the mid switch. I payed $165 shipped.
I will let this go for a Black Friday special of $140 insured as per Ryans' request.
