The other is a recent trade acquired from the Classifieds. It's a custom MXR Phase 90 with a clean blend knob and a "Phase 45" switch. It simply selects between the stock capacitor and another one very similar to the old Phase 45's. It's been around the block and is missing the nut on the switch, but I've only pressed the switch very gently with my fingers when using it. I just never got time to replace it. 1. SCRIPT MOD: Modifies the M-101 to sound like vintage "Script logo" Phase 90. Sounds much smoother, has less internal distortion/peaky midrange after mod.
2. PHASE 45/90 TOGGLE SWITCH: Allows you to go between the stock Phase 90 tone and a less intense Phase 45 tone. While it does not change the circuit to 100% replicate a Phase 45, it is a great approximation of the more subtle tones that the Phase 45 has. The 45 mode is less intense, less swirly, and more transparent.
3. MIX KNOB: allows you to mix dry (original) signal w/the phase shifted signal. The pedal in its stock form is about a 50/50 blend of those two sounds so you can dial in more or less wiggle than before.
4. Bright diffused blue LED is easy to see but not blinding.
