The OCD in me tells me MXR since many of my other pedals are MXR. I'm sure the Aguilar Octamizer is a fine pedal though.

Yeah, from the extensive reading I've done, its hard to choose between them. I bought the Octamizer exactly because I already have an overly MXR board (nothing wrong with that, of course).
