Does this pedal work over the entire range of the bass or is it like an analog octaver, it sounds best played higher on the neck?

It's definetely better higher up the neck, especially if you move the Blend knob more towards the -2 octave range. But, it sounds great in the mid to upper register and the depth and res controls actually give you a pretty wide range of sounds.

However, sorry DeltaPhoenix, this is sold pending payment.
