| | | | Compressors What do you have in the way of compressors? I've been needing to invest in one for a minute now, and the idea of a hand-made one is fairly enticing. |

I too am curious of an all in one Pre-EQ/DI/Comp-Limiter fashinoned after the Empress Para EQ with Empress Comp-Limiter; side chain, true by-pass, LED for input/output levels...
You can have two versions; 1 with and 1 without distortion....
Thoughts???

I have one and they are really expensive ($500). I am sure if you could do it pretty cheap and have it sound the same you would sell a lot of them. It is an amazing pedal.

I got 4 pedals shipped out this week, that 1590A mammoth clone, a standard mammoth, one of my optical compressors, and a 6 channel looper! I'm working on a highly customized mammoth clone with a blend circuit and push/relax control like in the mastotron! Here's a gut shot before I wire the boards together and close it up!
This is also the first if my pedals that I've properly mounted with pcb standoffs, so I'm confident it will be able to really take a beating and come through it with no problems.
I've been talking with Devi Ever and JohnK and have some ideas for ways to label my pedals. I'm giving the first method a try with the aforementioned custom mammoth (sammywalk has named it the "Fuzz Trooper") and it will have a space trooper on the front with a Star Wars themed font. I was shorted a few pots on my parts order, so this one wont be finished for another week or so, but I might have to post a pic of the finished outside in a day or two.
Moral of my post, standoffs are standard issue on my pedals now (yay!) this will be one of the last pedals I do with side mounted jacks (unless you REALLY need side mount), I'm capable of doing custom themed pedals with full art, and, possibly best of all, ALL of my pedals are now point to point! |

But, I got my printer setup first thing today and printed the first batch of labels for what will become the custom Fuzz Trooper for Sammywalk and the ClapTrap Optical Compressor!!
