I know it's a q-wah and I know I use it on bass. I don't know if it's a "bass q-wah". I'll check for further identification on the pedal when I get home.

No idea about the wah. No identification on it. Side note, one screw on bottom is sheared off.

I bought it here: XP-100, Wilson Wah, Fulltone Bassdrive, gator powered pedal board

That's all I got.

Micro Synth

Can the micro synth be used as a straight suboctave pedal (i.e. sub octave blendable with dry signal, sounds fairly accurate, not too "synthy")?

IME the octaver part of the pedal isn't too hot. Some people do use that function, though, so it depends on taste I guess. It's synth capabilities are far superior.

Been quite awhile since I've touched it, but that sounds about right. I don't recall thinking the octave on it was particularly out of this world. It's cool in the context of the synth, though.

Honestly if it's octave you're after, almost all of the popular octave pedals cost less than the EHXSMB, so trying to make it fit your octave needs seems a bit pointless. Of course if you want it I'll still happily sell it to you.

Thanks for the response. I was thinking that if the octave thing worked well I could kill two birds with one stone. Hmm, I'll think about it.
