Certainly it's less bulky and lighter, but is it any better than the standard soft Pedaltrain case? Does it offer more protection? Would those who have experience with Mono cases honestly feel comfortable transporting their board by bus/plane on tour protected by a Mono case?

EDIT: Also, your board is f***ing awesome. | I love the Mono cases. I've never had the PT-Pro hard case but I hear it's a MONSTER. I recently got a PT-2 with hardcase and I'm already saving for a new Mono bag. I bought the PT-Pro with the original bag. As soon as I got it I knew it wasn't going to work. When the Mono bags came out it changed everything. This bag is very thick and rugged. The inside is a tough vinyl and the outside is water resistant. If you've seen a regular PT-Pro bag you know how flimsy it is. You can fold it in half, the top is flappy. Not the case with the Mono. The top and sides are at least a half inch thick.
As far as traveling with the bag. I've never flown with gear before so I couldn't tell you. I think I'd be ok but I would scared even with an ATA flight case. Touring on the road, DEFINITELY!! While I haven't had it for long, I know it would great for years.
