Roland GR-20 w/13 Pin Cable & Power Supply

I have a mint condition Roland GR-20 synth pedal that I am no longer using. It has the latest firmware installed on it and it works great with any Roland compatible bass pickup system.

I don't have the original box but I do have the manual, patch list, and AC power supply as well as a 16' 13 Pin interface cable that will be included with the unit.

More detail can be found at this link:

http://www.rolandus.com/products/details/592

$299.00 OBO shipped and insured in the CONUS

Here are a few photos. I'm including the carrying case too!

It's always a possibility but there really isn't much that I need. PM me with any trade offers. You just never know!

If you have any sound bites of your bass with the GR20 I'd like to hear it and how it tracks.

Unfortunately I don't currently have a bass with a GK3B pickup so I am unable to get you any recordings.

I can tell you that the tracking depends largely on how well the MIDI pickup is installed and setup. These Roland units always track a little better in the higher register but I found them to be totally usable over the full range of a 5 string bass. I mostly have used it with string and synth patches but I've also done some flute and sax stuff too. It's loads of fun and it really adds some new dimensions to your music when you mix the patches with your normal bass sound.

I bought this unit because I had just purchased a Stambaugh 5 with MIDI capability. Unfortunately when I received the bass the MIDI circuitry didn't work properly so I returned it for a refund. Now I'm stuck with the GR-20 as a result.

If you've never used one of these you really should consider trying one out.
