PRICE DROPS
Specs on the RC-50 located @ http://www.roland.com/products/en/RC-50/index.html
The RC-50 has a few small scratches on the side from where it was rubbing up against the ME-50B. Purely aesthetic, and doesn't affect the usability of the unit. This thing is built like a tank, and although it's only been gigged a few times, it's still seen its fair share of abuse around the house. Included is the looper, the adapter, the manual, USB cable to hook it up to your computer, and the additional software/loops (not sure what's on the CD, I never used it). Still has all of the original packaging. I paid a hair under $700 CAD for this unit 3 years ago (not long after they came out). Ideally, I'd like $375 CAD for it, shipped to Canada or the continental USA. International buyers welcome, but must pay shipping costs.
Specs on the ME-50B @ http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/en/ME-50B/
The ME-50B I've had for 4.5 years. I'm just moving away from effects and this thing has been nearly unused for the last few months. I have everything that came with it, as well, including the packaging, and manual. This is a great unit with good EQ ability, great reverbs and delays, and good distortions. Admittedly, there are some seemingly useless sounds on it, but for the 'core' effects, it does its job well. Additionally, I purchased an adapter for it, since it doesn't come with one, and the only other option was to run it off of 6 AA batteries (fat chance of that happening). The adapter cost about $40. Like the RC-50, this thing is also a tank. However, it has incurred some scratches along the side as well (rubbing up against the RC-50) that are a bit more significant than the ones on the RC-50. Again, though, these are purely aesthetic and do not affect the performance of the unit. Shipped to Canada and the continental USA, I am looking for $215 for this unit (this includes the adapter which I paid extra for). Again, international buyers welcome, but must cover all shipping charges.

If there is a buyer interested in purchasing both units, I will sell them as a package for $515 shipped (again, to anywhere in Canada or the continental USA).
I'll also trade these 2 units straight up for a MicroKORG, or similar synthesizer. Detailed pictures and a full disclosure of the unit's condition is a must.
I'm also looking for a 4 string bass of some sort, as well. I've got a current fetish for Danelectros, so I'd consider that heavily over other things. I want something with a decently fat and warm tone.

Maybe they'll go back up, maybe not. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
