Consolidating some FS threads into one.

Just found out that my poor old SVT needs some new caps and tubes so I'm selling some pedals that I am not currently using. Need to raise cash so I am not interested in trades.

1. HBE Hematoma. Cosmetically it is in great shape but the preamp/boost section does not seem to be working. With the preamp on full it still doesn't boost the level, I can only get it to be slightly louder. I bought it used and that's how I got it. Likely a simple fix, maybe just needs a new pot. The OD section (the section that matters) works perfectly.

$75 Shipped Canada and ConUS. ******SOLD*****

2. Fairfield Circuitry 4Eyes Crossover Fuzz: This is an excellent fuzz pedal with a ton of sounds available. It's not a clone of anything and has its own awesome voice. 3 bands of fuzz plus a Q and Frequency control to set the voicing. the combination of controls will provide limitless sounds, throw in an expression pedal and double your fun.

The pedal is in great shape, comes with the original box.

from the manufacturer:
"Three parallel JFET fuzz circuits driven by a voltage controlled state variable filter with resonance control,
mu-amp input stage and quite possibly, a wedgie.

In other words, this is one versatile fuzz box. The wide operating range of the frequency control, switchable resonance and the three drive pots allows this dweeb to go places you never thought possible. From extreme to relatively subtle; from super thin to ridiculously fat.

The Four Eyes Fuzz wasn't designed to sound like your favourite vintage fuzz. You might be able to tweak it to sound close, but it truly does its own thing. "

$130 Shipped Canada and ConUS.

****SOLD*****

3. Rothwell Atomic Booster. Can be used as a clean boost or you can also turn up the treble control. this control actually acts as a gentle low cut so that when you boost your volume things don't go all muddy and farty on you. It's great for adding definition to your favorite fuzz or dirt pedal. with the treble control all the way off it is a clean transparent 20db boost. Excellent build quality and does not introduce any noise into your signal chain. More bass players need to experience this pedal!

Excellent condition and original box.

$90 Shipped Canada and ConUS ***No longer for sale****

paypal only please.

My SVT thanks you in advance!

Just out of curiosity,...how much is having your amp serviced gonna set you back?

My SVT could use some TLC as well.

I need to replace 2 6550s, 2 12BH7s and 2 12DW7s. A bunch of caps and resistors as well as diodes. parts and labour will be close to $400. but the amp will basically be brand new again.

i posted this in another thread:

SVT update, seems like it was in quite a bit of pain. found a few more bad components. Aside for tubes and capacitors...

if anyone is into this kind of stuff here is what Mike had to say.

"your cord was bad, so it's changed, the power switch had been "lubed" so it's new. as isthe internal fuse holder and the "cross the line" caps on the AC… important they they're UL/CSA certified types for the application.
I was poking (just measuring) on the board resistors and a couple of them cracked off at the leads! So I went a bit "apers" and every part
on the board is new. The small resistors are 500 volt 2 watt and 3 watt metal films. The bigger ones are 1% tolerance wire wound types.
The bias and balance pots are MIL spec locking ones. The hum pot was ok. It's a good old wire wound one. All the caps are Matsushita, the diodes are 1kv 6 amps.
