This is a brand new passive tone-knob-in-a-box. I purchased two of these from Dan at This1smyne a few weeks ago, but only really need one. It's wired exactly like the tone knob in a Fender Precision. I use it with my Hofner, which doesn't really have a tone knob per se. It'd also be great for use with Rickenbackers, or any other instrument that doesn't have a master tone knob on board.
