I've got two really cool events coming up in Atlanta in less than a week that I wanted to share with y'all:

Thursday, 1/12 @ 7pm
An Evening with Adam Nitti, Kirk Covington, Michael Whittaker, and Shane Theriot
The Atlanta Institute of Music
Duluth, GA

Come out and enjoy a night of incredible music at the Atlanta Institute of Music on Thursday, January 12th at 7pm! Admission is FREE! Joining me this time around will be a cast of world-class musicians:

Kirk Covington: drums (Zawinul, Scott Henderson, Allan Holdsworth)
Michael Whittaker: keys (Eric Marienthal, Warren Hill, Wayman Tisdale)
Shane Theriot: guitar (Neville Brothers, Boz Scaggs, LeAnn Rimes)

We will be performing a variety of tunes from my last three albums, as well as music from Shane, Mike, and Kirk's solo projects. You won't want to miss it! The Atlanta Institute of Music is located at:

I'll be doing a bass clinic at the Atlanta Bass Gallery's new location in Smyrna on Saturday, January 14th at 1pm. Admission is FREE! This event is sponsored by the Atlanta Bass Gallery, D'Addario Strings, Aguilar Amplifiers, and Ibanez Basses. Start time is 1pm. During the clinic I will be both performing various songs and solo pieces from my albums as well as answering any questions you have regarding bass or music in general. Bring a bass-playing friend and come on out! I look forward to seeing you there...

I saw this group (minus Shane Theriot) in Nashville during NAMM and they were great of course. Mike Whittaker on keys is unbelievable and Kirk Covington defies description.

Unfortunately I have to go to a rehearsal tonight or I'd be there.
