Bass case question

Hi Adam, I am looking to get a higher end hard shell case for my ibanez sr700, and had a question for you. There are a lot of neat cases out there but my bass has a sleek shape that doesn't fit in many of the cases that "hug" the shape of the body. It would definitely fit in the more generic open cavity cases, but then my worry is that it would shift inside and not be as protected. I was wondering if you have had any experience with open cavity cases for instruments, and what your opinion on them was.

hi benchbass-

i have the standard hardshell ibanez cases that are fit to my ibanez basses but haven't used any others for them. when i travel with a bass i actually use the skb bass safes... i put the bass inside a gig bag and then into the bass safe. i've had really great luck with them, and i've toured with them all over the world. here is a link:

hope that helps,

adam
