Bass Player Live! this weekend

It's back! The premier annual Bass event, Bass Player Live!, hosted by Bass Player Magazine will be taking place October 22nd and 23rd at S.I.R. Studios in L.A.

I'll be doing a clinic/performance on Sunday (10/23) at 11am in Clinic Room B and also be taking part in the Saturday night All-Star Bass Jam.

Bass Player LIVE! 2011 boasts two days of clinics, exhibits, and floor and booth demos, all featuring top names like Sly & the Family Stone/Graham Central Station funk legend Larry Graham, Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna bass visionary Jack Casady, session savant Anthony Jackson, Tonight Show Musical Director Rickey Minor, fusion phenoms Hadrien Feraud and Janek Gwizdala, Gospel great Andrew Gouche, and many more. A Saturday night concert will include Lifetime Achievement Award presentations to Jack Casady and Larry Graham, with performances to follow, as well as a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award to James Jamerson, accepted by his son, James, Jr. The concert will conclude with an all-star jam led by Steve Bailey.
