Adam, Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!

I'm not a pro, the bass is my avocation. After some lessons I took from Ant Wellington a few years ago ( both live and on musicdojo), he recommended Harmony and Theory to get my technicals up to snuff.

So I've read through it, but not much is stiking. ( My 50 year old head is pretty choc full of 'stuff' - learning music was much easier when my disc drive wasnt so ful and my RAM was idle!)

Should I use musicdojo, or would you suggest something else? Also, what preparation should I have done prior to taking some improv instruction from you?

THNX man. No rush.

hey there buffalobass! merry christmas and happy new year to you, also!

musicdojo is a great place to start if you are wanting to step into the harmony and theory stuff... however, if you are going to do a class there i might recommend jazz improvisation level 1... it is more of an applied harmony and theory for the bass specifically, as opposed to being a more general course. if you wanted to do private lessons, i'd be happy to find a place for you online, as well. no preparation would be needed, as i would basically evaluate where you are currently and custom tailor a path for you. if that is something you'd like to chat more about, shoot me a PM or email me at lessons@adamnitti.com.

thanks for your interest!

Adam, thank you! And jazz, specifically, is what I'm aiming for.
