MusicDojo Nashville Presents Anthony Wellington, 4/4/11

Sign in to disble this ad
We are thrilled to announce that MusicDojo Nashville will be hosting our first-ever clinic event featuring bassist and music educator Anthony Wellington on Monday, April 4th at 7pm. Anthony holds the highly-coveted accompanying bassist chair in the Victor Wooten Band and his funk has permeated stages across the nation! In addition to his role as a touring bassist, Anthony has always held a passion for teaching, and his eagerness to share with and inspire his bass brethren led him to open Bassology, a private teaching studio located in Waldorf, MD. Anthony brings with him a wealth of knowledge and he is known for his ability to take complex concepts and make them easy to understand. Regardless of your experience level on the bass, you won't want to miss this clinic if you are in the Nashville area!

Tickets are pre-sale only, and are available for purchase at AdamNitti.com. Click HERE to be taken to the ticket purchase link directly.

As an added bonus, Anthony will be offering a very limited number of private lesson times during the day on April 4th. Timeslot availability is first-come, first-serve. If you would like to reserve a lesson time with Anthony, email musicdojo@adamnitti.com and we will get back to you with payment info and available times.

Ok, never been to a bass clinic. Would love to check out Anthony, Adam and the new digs. What will be the format for this clinic? Do the attendees bring their own bass ready for hands-on or will it be more of a lecture-Q&A type presentation? Thanks.

Hey, Thumperbuns-

My apologies... I missed your post for some reason. Anthony will be doing a masterclass lasting at least 90 minutes. It will most likely be a little more of a lecture format due to limited space, but Anthony may get some volunteers to come and "sit in!" Anthony will bring some topics to discuss but there will be Q&A going on during the entire clinic. We hope you'll be able to make it!

Great clinic Adam. Thanks for the invite. I can't express how eye opening Anthony's teaching was. I couldn't wait to get my hands on my bass and try some of the things he demonstrated.

Looking forward to future visits to the dojo.

I live 30 minutes away. I'd sleep there if I could, just to absorb Adam's knowledge.

Something tells me my wife would have something to say about that though.
