| if those were my pedals, i'd put them in this order:
octave -> fuzz -> filter -> chorus -> delay
everyone has a different philosophy as far as effects go, but generally speaking i will always put the tonal shaping or preamp-oriented effects first in line, since they are most foundational to the tone... an octave pedal is essentially doubling or tripling the octave sources from your basic tone, so that would also be considered a 'first in line' type of effect for me, as well. after that, i place basic tone 'manipulation' types of effects, which would include things like distortion, fuzz, filters, etc. after that, i would place dynamic processing, such as compressors... and in the last segment of the chain, i would put more 'frilly' effects, such as chorus, echo, or delay. once again, this is my personal philosophy, but there are no right or wrong answers. i came up with this approach based on lots of experimentation and what worked the best for my ears... hope that helps!
