hey man,
i am new to this forum but i am looking at replacing what i am using now. i am in a band and we play a couple of times a month at a local bar. Average size sports bar. right now i am using an Ashdown 180 amp with a 2x10 GK gold line speaker cab on top of a 15" speakers. i have a feeling i dont have enough power from my amp or something is wrong but i have been using this get up for 2 years now and everything still works fine and puts out a decent sound. if i wanted to upgrade, piece at a time, what would be my best course of action. also, i am nowhere near as wealthy as scrooge mcduck but i would like to get something that will last for a while and something i will be proud of. Please help....

Upgrade that 2x10 first is what I would do. Then the 1x15, and last the amp.

hey postalwkr, is the ashdown 180 that combo amp they make that's 180 watts? if so, are you trying to power both of cabinets from its power source? if that's the one, i'd recommend more power if you are attempting to power 2 cabs...
