Session Video

Hey Adam,

Hope you don't mind if I post this...

Adam was kind enough to supply some killer bass tracks for my funk/fusion band's upcoming project, so I whipped up a makeshift video with some short clips we took during the session and a rough mix of one of the original tunes. Just a little teaser to make due until I get the website built. Thought the good people here at TB may be interested in seeing it. Hope you guys enjoy!

Thanks again Adam!

P.S. That's me on the keys...I'm only a wannabe bass player.

That was pretty nice. When is the album going to be available?

Thanks guys! Hopefully we can get a proper video together soon. Our drummer's wife is awesome with videos, but I totally butchered her clips.

We were hoping to have the project completed by the end of the year, but a recent business venture has kept me extremely preoccupied. Realistically, since this is just a little pet project, we probably won't be finished until next year.

Adam, you're the man...be expecting a call from me soon to possibly help us finish this bad boy!

thanks pasta!

i played my curbow retro II 5 on that tune... ran it through a hhb fatman tube compressor and split the signal. ran one side to an evil twin tube bass d.i. for the 'clean', and ran the other side through my aguilar tone hammer for the 'colored' signal... the bass tone you're hearing is most likely a blend of the 2. chris, can you confirm? or did you guys just end up using the clean?

^ yes...they are blended. There is a good bit of the "colored" signal in there.

Hey thanks! Yeah its looking like Adam is going to be the main man for this project (if he's willing to put up with us for a few more days! ) Our regular bass player got a full-time gig in Vegas, so we're a 3-piece band for the time being.

Really glad you dig it. All of us (except Adam) are part time musicians now, so we're putting this together in our spare time. I recently opened up a new business, so that has pretty much destroyed what little free time I had in the first place. I'm hoping to square away the rest of the writing when my life settles back down, then get Adam into the studio for some more fun. I'm telling myself it will be finished by the spring but don't hold me to that!
