1/8 Size Bass

I am on the hunt for a 1/8 size bass to teach a very enthusiastic young 7 year old. Does anyone know of a shop that rents or sells this size? I am in the San Francisco area. Tried Ifshin's but the smallest they had was a 1/4; about a foot too tall. They offered a cello tuned as a bass which I am not enthusiastic about. Maybe need to do a custom order, but from where?

I recall they had a 1/10 size bass on their web site at one time.

I've purchased three basses from them and am very happy with everything.

There are quite a few of the overseas companies making 1/8 size basses. These are pretty good, IMO.
