6 string bass method

Sign in to disble this ad
hi...

I recently ordered a Carvin Icon 6 and although its not done yet, I'm looking for some good 6 string methods. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much material out there. I'm looking for any books that cover chord positions in the upper register. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I would suggest posting your question in the Todd Johnson area here on Talkbass. He is the master of 6-string and especially chord playing. Maybe Todd or one of the six-string player there can help.

I just take guitar chords and adjust as necessary and see it the voicings aren't too much of a stretch.
