70's sloppy bass line help

Paint It Black, The Stones. What the heck is Wyman (or whoever) playing in that tune? I put headphones on and I still can't tell what's going on?

I know the arrangement and chords, but the specific bass line sounds like a bubbling tar pit.

Little help?

I wish I could have written that bubbling tar pit.

Dig the euphemism, but sorry not sure. Perhaps I'll try and YouTube it later and get back to you with any findings. fwiw, that song is from the 60's, though.

I hadn't thought about youtubing it. Doh! I'll check it out too and see what's there.
