70's sloppy bass line help

Paint It Black, The Stones. What the heck is Wyman (or whoever) playing in that tune? I put headphones on and I still can't tell what's going on?

I know the arrangement and chords, but the specific bass line sounds like a bubbling tar pit.

Little help?

Well, I don't know how accurate it is or not, but I found this on Amazon:

Dig the euphemism, but sorry not sure. Perhaps I'll try and YouTube it later and get back to you with any findings. fwiw, that song is from the 60's, though.
