Jailbreak and High Voltage are my two favorite AC/DC songs to play!

I don't play AC/DC songs, but i have found that most of the time the simpler the song, the more fun it is... especially with rock and roll.

I love ACDC and I think Cliff Williams is one of the greatest bassists in rock and roll. Why? You show me another bassist who can play one note every two bars for 10 minutes, be right on time with every single note, and not be compelled to throw in a bunch of crap to draw attention to himself. You think Billy Sheehan could do that? I don't. And I certainly can't

Agree! AC/DC is often very easy to play, but it sounds good, and that's the bottom line, right?

That's a good point. Talk about possessing the discipline of a monk.

I love playing their riffs on guitar, and my guitar students request their stuff all the time. Great fun.

Ac/Dc songs allow me the opportunity to release my inner dancing abilities and not care since they can't dance either

I love the Bon Scott/Cliff Williams era best of all from the AC/DC line ups. Brian Johnson has different vibe and I really like it as well

Still I bow in awe at Mark Evans' "Soul Stripper" bass line. Maybe 80% of the song is the B-A motiff

Dusty Hill from ZZ Top comes to mind.

That's a great line. I'm always impressed when a bassist can make two different notes sound interesting and groove so well.

Half this forum could not play with the feel of Cliff. They are easy songs but you have to have the feel. Same with Phil Rudd, the drummer. Easy beats, but not that easy to get the feel. ACDC is very fun to play!

I know you will kill me by this, but I really find ACDC really boring to play.

I love the stuff! I confuse the hell out of my brother when I pick up my bass and tell him let's do a classic rock jam and just play one note for two minutes.

Actually, another band that I hold close is one of the best and closest bands to AC/DC in sound, Airbourne. A great high energy band that makes me think of slightly harder and faster AC/DC.
