I'd recommend Mike Nunno at Route 1 Guitars - easygoing fellow, great player, has been teaching for years:

Chris McCarvill did a lot of bass instruction videos for Rockhouse. I think he's out on the road this summer, though:

I've know Mike for years, he's a great guy, great bass player and very easy going. You couldn't find anyone better around here.
