Any recommendations for Best of Bass Tab Book?

Seeing that bass tabs are hard to get on the web
these days,it got me thinking is there a Greatest Hits
of bass tabs book!Something that may cover, blues rock,
country,classic rock,light jazz (V Morison).
When i look at sites like bass books.com everything
seems to be categorized into one style or another..

Any recommendations for best of Bass tab book!

thnx

TAB BAD! You picked the wrong section to ask that question.

Take the time start transcribing it will help develop your ear. Start learning some theory and reading. That way you can learn more than to clone how someone moved their fingers. If you know some theory you can figure out why you like the bass like and be able to use it to make your own lines and variations. Also easier to learn this stuff from the beginning than later. TAB only has one use it is good for showing fingering for a line, other than that its empty calories.

There is a TAB area of TalkBass they can probably answer your question better.
