ATTN MN Bassists: Lessons with Anthony Cox?

Sign in to disble this ad
I am not seeking these right now, but my current bass teacher has suggested that, maybe in a few months, I try to take lessons from this bassist. I'm pretty into jazz, and I'd say I've been taking everything relatively well. My teacher has said though since I'm going in that direction he's the guy to go for.

Just wondering, does anyone know how I would go about setting these up when I think I'm ready? And has anyone taken lessons with him? If so, does anyone know the costs (this would decide whether I or my parents pay)? A lot of questions...

Thanks everyone!

He teaches at Mcnally Smith College of Music and is an excellent player. I can't comment on his teaching since I've never had lessons with him.

You could probably find his email address on the school website.

Check his [amazing] playing here:

I'd take lessons from him any day if I was in the area.
