Bass DVD???

Hey guys girls, Am looking for a good instructional bass dvd. Whats the most popular. Something with a good amount of theory in it, as i am a little lacking??? Cheers..

However, I'd personally recommend skipping the DVD and getting yourself an actual teacher.

Yeah point taken, the only trouble is i work funny hours and have lost my driving license, so its a bit tricky. Am pretty good on the bass technique wise. I just want to cover all my Theory basses..Forgive the pun...

It is an online class that you can take at your own pace.

The instructors are all world class, working studio or touring bass players.

Norm Stockton runs this site, and also if you still want to get an instructional dvd, he has a tremendous series called Groovin for heaven.

I know it sounds very Church o centric, but it actually has very little to do with it. The theory is some of the best I've seen, and the step by step application of those theories into you playing is excellent.

This might be what you are looking for. It covers slap, chording, tapping, harmonics, fingerstyle, and muting techniques.
