Hi All,

I have recently got back into playing the electric bass a large break. Does anyone have a recommendations of any good tutor DVDs.

You say you are getting back into it but you don't say what your level of experience was/is. Are you looking for beginning, intermediate, or advanced level?

I highly recommend Todd Johnson's "Technique Builders" DVD.

Like having one of your pals teaching you, as Todd is very relaxed and reassuring on camera...

I have several instructional bass VHS tapes and DVDs, and Todd's is the one I keep going back to...

And he has his own forum on TB!

There's a good few youtube players around that could show you a lot. I'm not too sure as I have no access to the site, but I know for one that MarloweDK is excellent.

As for actual DVDs, I've really enjoyed Jaco's Modern Electric Bass, and Bass Extremes by Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey.
