Bass Grooves

Amazon.com: Bass Grooves: Develop Your Groove and Play Like the Pros in Any Style Book/CD (Softcover) (9780879307776): Ed Friedland: Books

What a great book. For someone that has only been playing for two years, I give my recommendation(for what it is worth) to anyone starting out on playing.

Along with Jaquo's The Art of the Groove, I am really feeling and seeing progress being made on my part.

I do need more practice with my drum machine as far as programming though lol.

Yes, I'm a fan of Ed's writing. I too, for what that is worth, would recommend anything Ed writes.

Has anyone checked out Ed's "Expanding Walking Bass Lines" book/CD? I would imagine that to be a great one.

Thanks Blair I appreciate you digging my instructional material and glad it's making you a better groover.

The name of my instructional product is "The Essence of the Groove" not The Art of the Groove.
